Pilotul echipei Ferrari, Felipe Massa, va rata Marele Premiu de Formula 1 al Ungariei, după ce sâmbătă a suferit un accident grav şi a fost transportat la spital, a anunţat purtătorul de cuvânt al scuderiei.
“El nu va concura mâine (duminică, n.red.)”, a spus reprezentantul echipei, informează Reuters, citat de NewsIn. După ce pilotul brazilian a fost scos din monopost, el a fost transportat la centrul medial al circuitului, după care a fost urcat într-un elicopter şi dus la un spital de lângă Budapesta. Purtătorul de cuvânt al FIA a afirmat că starea de sănătate a lui Massa este stabilă.
În imaginile televizate s-a văzut cum un obiect a lovit casca pilotului de la Ferrari, după care acesta a intrat cu monopostul în zidul de protecţie.
Ediţia online a Gazzetta dello Sport a prezentat o imagine surprinsă după accident, vizorul căştii fiind spart, iar pilotul avea o lovitură puternică în jurul ochiului stâng.
Şeful lui Ferrari, Stefano Dominicali, a precizat că doar Kimi Raikkonen va concura duminică pentru echipă, deoarece regulamentul prevede că pilotul care l-ar putea înlocui pe Massa trebuia să efectueze cel puţin un test pe circuit.
